Myles Jury added to featherweight division along with new training camp

08/03/15 – Gilbert, AZ – Ultimate Fighting Championship standout Myles “Fury” Jury (15-1) announced today that he was moving down in weight classes from the UFC’s lightweight division to the equally stacked featherweight division. Jury, who began his career competing in the 170 lb. welterweight division has found much of his success competing as a lightweight following a well-publicized run on The Ultimate Fighter Season 15. While his next assignment has not been announced, Jury hopes to make a run for the title while he challenges the best fighters that the 145 lb. weight class has to offer.

In addition to the change in weight classes, Jury also announced that he has made the move from San Diego, CA to Gilbert, AZ to become a part of Power MMA’s elite group. Along with Jury, stable mates Johnny “Hollywood” Case- who is undefeated in his campaign with the UFC, Bellator MMA lightweight standout Michael Chandler, along with rising stars Justin Lawrence and Luis Saldana, have all made the move to the Powerhouse in Gilbert, AZ, Power MMA.

About Myles Jury

Myles Jury began his mixed martial arts career in Oct. 2005 and has since racked up seven wins by knockout, five by submission and only three of his wins have gone the distance. Jury is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as well as Jury Jiu Jitsu; an MMA system which “Fury” has developed and used to dominate his opponents inside the cage.

During his tenure with the UFC to date, Jury has defeated MMA notables such as Michael “The Menace” Johnson, Diego “The Dream” Sanchez, and “The Fireball Kid” Takanori Gomi. Jury’s lone defeat came by way of a decision loss to championship title contender Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone.

Current MMA rankings have Jury pegged at #8 lightweight in the world.
